The combination of additive manufacturing and web customization could be a game changer for the design, manufacturing and construction industry. Now you could customize on the web your design, material, color and 3d print it in stone! Read the whole interview at the link below and customize your own vase:

What if we restore Notre Dame using the debris from the collapse, using 3D printing? Find our proposal here
November 2018 – we are proud to announce the launch of Armadillo White, an inkjet 3D printer specifically designed for research and education. Click here for more details.
CONCR3DE is presenting our research into high strength inkjet 3d printing at 3DCP conference at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia. Click here for more information.
CONCR3DE was invited to give a series of lectures at PATH festival, Sao Paulo, the Architecture faculty of UFRGS and EID in Rio de Janeiro.
Architecture, design, manufacturing and all kinds of production currently rely on endless repetition: The same buildings, the same products and the same tools, over and over again.
Yet everybody is unique and every situation is different. As architects ourselves we got frustrated with how difficult it is to produce a design that is unique and special, yet at the same time affordable for everyone. We, Matteo and Eric, founded CONCR3DE in 2016 with the aim of providing a way to produce sustainable and unique forms of architecture, construction, design and manufacturing, using inkjet 3D printing technology.
Since the beginning of our journey in 3D printing we thought what we, as architects, would want from a 3D printer.
We want it to provide more design freedom than current manufacturing technologies, at an affordable price. We also want it to be a part of our design process, so that we can prototype building parts in a smaller scale and test the look, feel and assembly of finished parts. Of course we want it to be sustainable and clean. We want it to be precise, so that it gives us high quality surfaces and the result stays close to our intentions. We also want it to be precise so that we can connect other building parts to it, without leaving large gaps. We’d want to create prefab parts, so that we can keep a simple and clean building site and transport less materials. And lastly we want it to print in strong and durable materials, that do not break down easily and can withstand the outdoor weather.
Since 2016 we’ve created different printers and developed strong materials suitable for research, construction, prototyping and molding.
We collaborate with architects, universities, research institutes, construction companies and production companies to see what unique, novel, sustainable, better, faster and more beautiful things we can create together.
We are always looking for highly motivated and talented people to join our team. Currently we have the following positions available:
Technisch medewerker – full time, per direct.
We zoeken per direct een allround technisch medewerker die ervaring heeft met assemblage van complexe elektronische systemen. Een volledige functiebeschrijving vindt je hier.
Internships in mechatronics and chemistry – Full time. Starting date any time
We are now hiring for spring 2021. Are you a student in the field of mechatronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering or robotics? Get in touch with us with a CV and short portfolio and we’ll discuss your opportunities at CONCR3DE.
Open opportunity: Internship in mechatronics/electrical engineering.
